Noticed the file on Minelabs website.

I have been using the stock coin program and have been happy with that BUT a park pattern may be interesting. I havent downloaded the program on to my computer from the CD yet. I assume you have to use that to view and download the program into the etrac? TMAN...

TMAN, yes you have to use the exchange software. It was a little confuseing at first but i got the hang of it. Im at work but when i get home im going to download it to see whats diffrent. The stock coin pattern has worked well.

I agree with ya that the stock coin program works real well. I installed the program and downloaded the pattern. I looked at it but havent tested it yet. It opens it up to about 18 on FE and puts a line through the middle up to about 30 or so. I will grid off an area this weekend at a spot I am gonna hunt and see what happens. Do you still have your 75 or did you trade it in? TMAN...

The 75 went in on the ETrac. Not that i didn't like the 75 but the ET works so much better for my conditions. I'm still waiting on my permit so i can get out and hunt. Looking at the pattern i'm not so sure about the line up the middle. Seems like it would knock out the nickles.

Ez rider...what do you mean waiting on your permit...please dont tell me there is a place in the world where you have to get a permit to detect. can that be right? where would that be? I hope you are just refering to permision from your wife..Anyway best of luck to you.

New York City, yes you need a permit for the parks and beaches.

Yea, I had to send in for mine and the families permit to hunt TVA property down here in TN. Lets us in the camp crounds and on the beach.
