Mixed Mode Pro

Mixed Mode is the simultaneous operation of the AC (motion) and DC (all metal) channels. It is the deepest seeking mode available. If I encounter a high trash environment, I turn MIXED MODE OFF. To get the BEST performance out of Mixed Mode, use VCO and TONE ID. Turn MODULATION OFF. Because both AC and DC modes are active simultaneously, each target will have at least two responses. The operator may receive a strong or a weak signal from the All Metal channel, and either a "GOOD" or "BAD" indication from the Discrimination channel. Continued passes over the target may eventually yield a SignaGraph indication. Rob
