Mixed Bag today

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
Right before the rain started today, Nancy got us another yard to hunt. I got a nice mixed bag of goodies including a 1918 Merc, 1912 Barber, 1901 IH and 5 wheats from the teens to the 30's. The gold baby ring is just plated but still fun to find. The large token is a mystery, can't find any info on it. It says Third Degree Knicker Pie Eater's Club.

do a google search on Knicker pie eater and you'll find a contest from back in the 30's

Looks grate larry cant Wait till i start finding things like that again... went out today at glen oak for a couple of hours found 6 lincolns & 2 dimes (clad) and a hand full of junk ( pt , foil, bottle caps..etc..) its hard to learn what the detector is saying!!!

Thanks Chuck, I must have misspelled something on an earlier search..........

Nice mixed bag of goodies today Larry. It has either misted or outright rained here just about all day. I turned into a couch potato and watched football.
