Mixed bag this morning

Went out this morning to a new park. First target was an old penny, so off to a good start. Found a few one and two cent coins and some more old pennies.
Dug two rings, first was a cheap "lord of the rings" ring, the second a nice silver with a green stone in it. A nice new $2.00 coin was a fresh drop under a tree.

The ,50 cal casing sounded real good! and then not far away hit a patch of ground that was just screaming! I was going to move on thinking it must be a big piece of copper pipe or the like, but just to be sure hit pin point and straight away locked onto a target. up came a penny, the E Trac was still telling me something big was there so went over it in pin point again and dug another penny about 4 inches from the first. Checked again and there was still something there, up came the 20mm oerlikon cannon shell from a couple of inches from the last penny.

Was getting ready to head home when I got the 1917 sixpence.
