Mix o' relics & need opinions on small buckle

I got out for a couple hours Sun and went back to my IH park. First time in the year I've been hunting this park that I didn't find even one IH!
I found 5 deep wheats: 1917, 1918, and 3 from the '20s. Relics included a broken flat button, a small padlock etc. I stopped breathing for a sec when I popped the token - I could just make out the eagle through the hard dirt coating. Turned out to be a modern token and says "no cash value" on the other side.
The buckle is interesting. It came from about 8 inches down. I was thinking it could be a shoe buckle or possibly a spur buckle. Any thoughts?
Thanks for sharing. Bruce in Ct

Those arcade tokens will make your heart skip a beat. I've had that happen to me twice .... Great finds !!

Nice finds Bruce.:clapping: I know how you felt about that token. I found one just like it and when I saw the eagle my heart was pounding and then it was just a play token of some kind.:veryangry: GL & HH.

Nice finds Bruce. I have a token that I think is just like that. I'll dig it up and see if it is the same. Oh!!! winter...burrr. Make the best of the rest of the season my friend. Happy hunting!

Bruce that buckle is a small version brass bat wing shoe buckle from the 1700's. There is also a silver variety of this buckle that I've seen found that is very ornate. Very good find.
