Missouri Camp/Skirmish Site Gives Up Silver

Hi, all

Took my F75 for a three hour hunt, today. The area I've been hunting has been hit hard. Almost all the finds haven't been deep due to the soil content which has some clay in it. Five minutes into the hunt I got a nice signal in all four directions and popped out this lovely 1853 dime. Didn't find another relic the rest of the three hours. Quality beats quantity any day. It was a beautiful day and was nice to be out.

Thanks for looking,

jimmyk in Missouri

1853 with arrows is a common 10 cent piece as the mint made almost 12.2 million, which was huge run in the day. Guess we needed extra to pay the chinamen their dime a day and a cup of rice for a 12 hour day of labor. Kudos as at least $30-$60. John

Quality over quantity is always great. Love to find something great like that at the beginning of the hunt, you start thinking positive right off the bat. Nice find JK.
