Missing Those Who Were Ever So Special In Our Lives

Time does give some sort of healing, at least the pain reduces.

It is Sunday morning here, 15th December. My Mum died on this day in 1970. She was a godly woman, only 58 years old, and very active in the Lord's work.

43 years have passed since that sad day, but I can still easily get into tears if I let myself go, so I don't. But the initial daily painful emotions have long gone and so life goes on, as it must.

There is a season for all things, as the Scripture teaches ...

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
