Missing my old ace350, but I will get another next week!

I really do miss it, I found a lot of coins with it, plus I had the sunray probe and the sniper coil on it, it was a heck of a machine and I made a mistake getting rid of it, but lesson learned ! Hank

If the ace350 was working for you why on earth would you get rid of it?Did you so call upgrade to the at-pro?I only own a ace-250 with a whites coin-master as back-up. I have had great success with it.I have three coils that I change once in a while.Once you learn this machine it is quite hard to toss it in favor of a so called better machine which has had its share of trouble with its waterproofing among other troubles. You simply do not hear about troubles on the ace series. they are the most reliable tectors around. period.Wayne in Delaware HH.

Thanks JohnE, there is light at the end of the tunnel! HH hank

Hey dabbie1 , I guess I had a moment I don't know why I got rid of it, it's a great machine, I've found more with that machine than any other machine I had, the Atpro is a good machine but the tones are not for me, but that's me I've never had a problem with it just I wanted the ace350 back, my son wants the Atpro so I guess he gets a early Christmas present, GL to ya and HH hank

Hey Andy you just can't beat the ace350, mine will be here Wednesday, my self I like dedicated machines not a all terrain, but that's just me, hope all is well with ya, GL&HH hank

My understanding is that if you use the AT Pro in standard mode the tones are the same as the Ace 250/350. If the tones are your only issue with the AT I would keep it in standard mode and you will get your tones back the way you like plus more depth.

Well I just like the 350 better, more comfortable to use, and I like the sun ray probe on it, it was nothing wrong with it , I just like the ace better, as for water hunting I use the tiger shark it's made like a tank!

Hi Hank ,
I have to agree with you the ace's are hard to live without . I had a ace 250 and several other high end detectors including a AT Pro and a whites MXT and M6 and all have went by the way except for my ace 250 . I did sell my ace 250 once but missed it so much I did like you and bought another one about three weeks after I sold it . I have the standard coil & sniper coil and have just ordered a new 5x8 DD coil for my Ace 250 . Like you said they are just so comfortable to use after you get use to them . Congrats on your new purchase ..

Hey Bear, the first ace350 I had found a lot of goodies then I bought the Atpro , it didn't give me any trouble at all, it wasn't for me, maybe the tones or what every it was it wasn't for me, so I got a new 350 with the sunray probe and couldn't be happier, I just like it, there are a few detectors that I love and they are the ace350, golden umax and the tiger shark there all I need to do any hunting I want, in glad your happy with the 250, I've learned if your happy with it, don't change nothing, GL & HH hank
