I went out today for a little while & hit a spot that has produced nothing but I knew something had to be there. After about 15 minutes I hit my first wheat then another, then another. I kept at it for awhile and finally got a silver signal and out popped a 1941 s quarter, that was about it until I hit another good signal and it turned out to be a small dollar size compact case with krasny printed on the front, I can't find a thing about it but it is old. I gave up for the day & went home to clean up the coins, two of the wheat's are 1930s & the third the first thing I saw was VDB I got real happy then turned it over & search as I may I could not find the s. The 1909 is there but no s mint mark no mint mark at all. I can at least add it to the collection as I did not have one. It is in great shape a little dark but I would guess it at au50.

That's still quite a nice find. A VDB is one I've not found yet. Fantastic hunting and thanks for sharing, Nancy
