Yesterday, I had an opportunity to detect on some property that had a house built around 1920. Unfortunately, my detector (Whites XL Pro) was going crazy the entire time I was near the house. The meter was constantly moving and it was making a lot of noise. As soon as I left the yard and crossed the street my detector would start to operate fine. After going back and forth a couple of times, I noticed there was a power line that hung over the old house. In fact, it ran the entire length of one side of the street. Any suggestions how to overcome this signal interference?:confused:
