One thing about being unemployed is I have some time for detecting.
This is pretty much from my back yard... I decided to take my tractor and scrape an area that showed some promise.
Just took the sod off so far and I'll dig everything until I get no more signals and then I'll scrape another 2 inches and repeat.
There is lots of misc junk metal turning up... and a few pretty good things.
I'm real disappointed with this pic but.... OH WELL ..
old spur, a hook thing, a wazit, a pretty cool buckle,
the round thing you can't see is a ... 1905 IH,
and a surprize--->>> the best condition gilded button I've ever dug.
