Mis-struck rosie.

Since my bank doesn't have their automatic coin counting machine anymore I'm back to rolling my clad coins again and I came across this 1991 P rosie that looks to mis-struck. You can see more rim on the left side and hardly any at all on the right side. Does anyone think it might be worth anything besides 10 cents? One can only hope...........:) Thanks for any help on this. HH.

Nice error there Eddie - I doubt it's worth very much, but it's a keeper for sure. I found this dime planchet error a few weeks ago.

That's a cool error - is that a double strike (head & tail) what's on the other side? Did you find that with your detector?

Yep found it with my detector. I belive it got stamped with a penney still in the die because if you look close some of the letters are backwards.

Yes, Erik I found that dime with my XS. The other side looks normal so it looks like the head side just has the misaligned stamping. HH.

Even though it isn't mis-struck badly, it is enough to hang onto and should be worth more than 10c.

Were in the world did you ever find one like that at? That is a definate keeper for sure. I wonder how it got struck at so many different angle's? Awesome Coin!

Found this in a roll of State Quarters about 6 months ago or so. Unstamped and you can tell it was suppose to be a Quarter by the edge of it. Cool!!![attachment 37456 QuarterFace.jpg][attachment 37457 QuarterEdge.jpg]
