MIRAGE P,I 2ND TIME OUT , REALLY LIKE THE PERFORMANCE

No rings today , but when i got to this park you could see the ground just littered with foil , and the Mirage was silent on all , yes i was picking up bobby pins but non deeper than 2" and yet hitting tabs at 5"+ deep with good signals most targets where shallow but no deep nails but the good targets come thru really nice you see only one heavy foil that i found , I ran the pulse delay just past the 2 and gain @ 4 and Sat @ 4 it seems like the sat- and gain like to be set the same found some wheel weights, some tabs and coins nice time out , a fellow detectorist stopped to chat and i let him hold the mirage in his hands and he got this , look on his face of amazement and said this don't even weigh 2 pounds, I told him its a costom build , buy some guy in Canida any way this things a sweet detector and going to find the gold rings, may be the 3rd time gold will suface .

Gunnar,a nice selection of finds,the Mirage seems to be working well for you,was that with the 7'' or 5'' Mono coil ??? must admit i am well pleased with the 5'' coil that i got from Sven,the build quality of his Mirage Pulse machines and Coils are as good as or better than most of the big boys in the game.

Looking forward to your No3 trip out.

mega B , I was using the 7" mono and it was spot on in pinpointing , but i also use a pro pointer just to keep the digging neat & clean, yes build quality is top notch, and its ease of use is wonderful I have a lot of control , with the different knobs, I could even back off on my pulse delay and still not find 75% of the foil i was just past 2 pulse delay but on testing i found i could run it at 1 and still get a bit more depth and ignore most of the foil, this is the machine I was looking for , to use in that parks & sports fields, its as light , as the Vaquero if not a bit lighter, I bet if others tried it in a park they would like it . Sven would have to start a factory, my next choice was the whites TDI SL

Gunnar,i am taking my Pulse out this sunday on a roman site,its 150 acres we have access to and part of it is ploughed and rolled but the part that i am interested in is last years stubble fields as this is the main reason i bought the smaller 5'' coil to get in between the stubble rows.
