Minlelab Charger question

Hello experts,

I would like to know if this charger compatible with the original Minelab Excalibur ii charger. I live overseas where the power voltage is 220v. I was able to find a 220V charger but different mA and hz, please find attachment for the charger image, I want to know if it is safe to use.
Minelab input: 110v AC 60 Hz and the one I bought 230v, 50hz
Minlelab output, 14.3 DC 60 mA, the other one 14V, 450mA.
thank you

That one will charge the Excalibur battery pack, but you will need to make sure that when the battery pack starts to get warm, you unplug it. If you don't, the batteries could get very hot and get destroyed. Possible fire, but NiMH and NiCD packs don't normally burst into flames like Lithium Ion batteries can.

Another option that takes in a wide input voltage range and senses when the pack is charged is at this link:
Excalibur Charger

It is sourced out of the USA but you should be able to contact them and see what shipping options they have. The web page has an e-mail contact as well as phone numbers. There are also peak detect chargers for the Excalibur available on ebay.

The one on the link will need to power input plug replaced since it is pre-wired for US outlets. It will accept up to 240 Volts AC input.
