Mining camp gives up the gold

I seem to be on a roll with these gold pocket watches lately! This camp was circa 1860's and gave up some cool stuff. I intend on going back one of these days but as you can see in the beginning of the video, it was quite a long drive for us. I hope all of your snow is melting and you guys are getting out there.
You won't find it if you're not looking!

neat find tones congratulations! I still have a glacier in my backyard.

Those old pocket watches are so cool really like that one nice dig . Still got foot and a half of snow here , waiting . sube

Regarding digging newer items at older areas, it hurts when you dig gold chuck e cheese tokens at a early eighteen hundreds farmhouse...

That watch face is awesome...Love the detail on it. How large an area were those parts spread out?

I found the all three parts within a square yard or so

oh wow okay, too bad you can't find the guts to it.did you do any research on the age of it?

That is a beaut! Not sure I've seen one with a gold face. Great detail. Congrats on the recovery. HH Randy

Unfortunately the only inscription in it says TV. Researching it was impossible thanks to the stupid Kansas city RR pocket watch infomercial

What a beautiful watch and a great picture of it too Brandon.

If i were you i would post it on an antique timepiece forums, i have got help three times in the past when i had difficulty identifying an item by doing that

Is there any way to have it rebuilt with new insides? I would wear that thing proudly!

I've posted it on a few pocket watch forums and all I know as of now is that it was possibly swiss made. I suppose it could get new guts put in. Not sure how much that would run me though.

Has anyone here ever rebuilt one? I much did it cost?

I bet it would not be a lot of money. just call some lshops and see what they tell you.
