Minimizing deep rusty iron falsing with Jeff Foster's post in mind.......

With Jeff Foster's post in mind "Understanding Some of the Magic of the V3's Analysis Screen", how can this information be used to help minimize those high (+94 +95) hot rock/iron falsing with the V3? I haven't gotten out much with my V3 (about 4 hours) but wondering how similar it'll be compared to my old DFX. Would the use of 2.5 kHz help minimize hot rock/iron falsing since the non-normalized scaled would distance itself away from those typical high false readings? Would the use of 2.5 kHz help "see" good targets near rusty iron better? Just wondering......
