Minerals test with GT- did well

GunnarMN

New member
I did a minerals test with the GT . 3" of magnetic black sand , and a dime under it , got a fine signal in all metal , removed the dime , just in case it was picking up the minerals , and without the dime it was silent went thru it like it was not thear , . The funny thing was when i put it into disq it was silent for a bit then it picked it up very good .

the musky will not do that in disc it just goes silent like other detectors but in all metal the 5khz musky is like a pulse machine and deep that why i dont want to get rid of the musky no one makes anything like it anymore , wish i had a nother one as well

Good luck with the GT, two good detectors to own. I liked my Sov XS........, just too heavy for my elbow joint.

yes i did smash the one , only to find out it was lose batterys, conection in the battery pack I was really bummed out ,what an idiot i was , But a gracfull member sold me a new box for 140.00 and lots of extrasand put me back in bussness God bless him , and let me tell you if i ever win the lottery or make a big find can you guiess who im going to share it with . ??? thats right the guy who had mercy on my stupid but . no i take good car of the musky its a fine machine

ah shucks, I thought you would share your lottery winnings with me.....

sven i will remember you as well ,

Critterhunter, thank you for the informtion about the GT needing time to adjust to the minerals. I have only used my machine once, and as a new user information like that is very helpful.

That is correct as it takes a little time for the Sovereign to adjust to the ground and also why you will see the Sovereign going deeper in the ground than actual air test as with air test it has nothing to compare the signal to.The Sovereigns dont like air or speed so keep it slow and the coil close to the ground for the best results.
