Minerallization of ground

Can anybody tell me how to know if the ground have High or Low Minerallization?
I'm a new CTX user and cant find answer for this in the user manual.

first, make sure your screen is showing the sensitivity level. second, look at the number on the right. that number ranges from 1 - 30. If the number is low you have high mineralization, if the number is high, the mineralization is low. Just make sure you don't have strong electrical interference in the area because that will affect the suggested sensitivity level too.

Yes. It's not giving you a "ground mineralization amount" number, it's giving you the suggested sensitivity setting for stable operation. In most cases, if it is suggesting a very low sensitivity it is because there is a lot of feedback from the ground.

The sensitivity setting is the adjustment of the Rx gain.
If you have highly mineralized ground the CTX turns down the gain.
If your mineralization is low it can crank up the gain.
Think of it as an AM radio and the background static. If there is a lot of static you might be inclined to turn the volume down so all the noise won't drive you crazy.
High mineralization is noise to a metal detector.

I use to hunt on Relic program an use Auto 3+ and Target separation Ferrous Coin. Your explanation meens that if the numbers on the right side (the green one) is lover than the left one I should og to Ground Coins. Right?

No, The suggested numbers will ALWAYS be lower if you are using auto+. I think even most auto- settings would still be above the green suggested level. I know it's kind of wierd, and I have seen better explanations (I just cant remember exactly how they went) but the 2 numbers are not direct correspondents. The suggested number and the real usable number are often separated by a lot more than 3 levels.
