Mineralization

unearth

Member
Can anybody show me a web site or explain to me if there is a way to determine the mineralization in the ground. If there is, is there a way to figure out which detector, by the mineralization, may be the best suited for the area in which you live?

I think there are government websites which give mineralization readings for the whole country. You have to search for those or perhaps someone here knows of them - they do exist.

Many machines (and I hope a future update with the CTX) gives GB and mineralization readings. The V3i and Omega are two that come to mind that I have had.

Basically, multi frequency machines like the E-Trac and lower frequency machines like the Omega seem to do better in mineralized soils. As the mineralization gets hotter it seems machines multi freq like the Fisher CZ's and FBS machines reign supreme, though newer technology with frequency seems to be changing a bit. In super mineralized soils the PI units seem the only solution, well than and the recently released Blisstool. JMHO
