I know thats an odd subject, but I can not think of a better way to phrase it.
Probably a year ago I was watching prospecting videos on youtube. I came across a video of a guy that was detecting in the shallow water of a creek. He was not actually searching for gold or relics, but rather watching to see where the heavier mineralized soil was deposited during the high water. After a bit he would find an obvious line where the creek had deposited the black sand or heavier deposits.
After he figured out where the obvious line was in the creek where heavy minerals were deposited he would go back and shovel that through his sluice box.
Does anyone know the url to these videos on youtube or some other website? If one of you experts was going to attempt this with your etrac, is it possible and what would be the best setup in your opinion?
I know the obvious applies that everywhere is different, but in general is this possible with the etrac?
