does any one have an idea how much minelab would charge to reset some of my knobs on my excal1000 (my sens.. clicks in the wrong spot ,,,valume spins round and round ...or maybe some1 know somebody who know how to fix it ?

Probably will be about a 20 day turnaround and about $75+parts would be my best guess. It is WORTH IT, they do a great job in Vegas. Be VERY specific about all the issues you want addressed in your letter, which you will enclose with the package. Ask also to please call with estimate, before completing repairs so you are not shocked after the fact. They have always been very fair and reasonable on their repairs, imo.

Why not save your cash and do it yourself, take the out of position ones off and put them on again in the right place, the spinning one should only need tightening, you could even put a decent set on for less than 1/4 the cost

Maybe a market for Excalibur aftermarket repair...

I just sent my Excal II 800 in and I was told it would be a 20 turn around also. Hope I get it back sooner.
