Minelab's new X-Terra Detectors (2)

It's been a while since we have received so many emails and phone calls concerning a new detector. I've replied to emails and calls all day and hopefully will get a few minutes to publicly address your interest. Minelab has finally given us two new LIGHT WEIGHT detectors: the X-Terra 30 and 50. For that alone I can say Thank You Minelab! What a treat to finally hold one of there detectors that weighs less than 3 pounds (X-Terra 30. X-Terra 50 weighs 3.25 lbs with batteries on my scales). It was so simple to assemble I only read the manual instructions after putting it together. Once batteries were installed (4 AA) I turned it on with a push of the power button and began detecting. I have been impressed with the X-Terra's ability to distinguish between different era coins, relics and gold. Pinpointing was a breeze with the new pinpoint mode/icon and tone. I really love the 4 tone ID as well. All Metal target ID mode is perfect for relic hunting. I can't wait to get it into the field and try it on some Civil War relics. This set of new detectors will be one of the industry favorites in short order. Just my opinion, and I'm very impressed so far. Will keep you posted. Good hunting, David @ Dixie

David, what is the difference between the two? And let me know how they do on relics, depth, discrimination etc. I have been thinking about a new machine and this maybe the one...d2

i Hope so but don't think so???? have not been impressed with mine lab but the CZ 3D is for me a pleasure in the woods its like it works with you like a good bird dog.
