Minelab was ask what they were coming out with to compete with other Companies. Guess like Fisher, Garrett, Whites. Because they have jack their price's so high. They said a All Purpose Detector. Now what that means your guess good as mine. I would take it AT Pro, T2, other brands are taking their toll on bottom line. This was ask at their Share Holder's Meeting. Minelab is owned by CODAN and the machines are made and tested by PLEXUS which is TOP of line company I was going to buy a Gold Detector lived were their was gold GPX Best. Fork out $5000 or E-Trac cant beat it on silver other thing's. X-Terra line make it water proof and set it up like the Whites VX3 were use one coil. Got a big winner and price it right.

I don't even understand whats going on here

I think he is saying .......

Minelab was asked what are they going to produce to stay competive in the market with other companies. This question per goldman was asked at a share holders meeting.. His opinion is Minelab has raised prices extremely high compared to their competitors prices.

He further states his guess is the At pro, and T2 model detectors are taking their toll on Minelab lower prices detectors ( Xterra Models)

He says he was going to buy a gold machine as he lives where gold is in the area... Or buy an ETrac that works well on silver.and other targets... the $5,000.00 GPX is better on gold.

Also if Minelab would water proof the Xterra series and set it up to read out and adjust more like the Whites VX3 using only one coil ( Maybe means add frequency like the VX3 has) in his opinion it would be a big seller and competive in prices in the lower end for MInelab.. ????????????????????

Thank you Elton.

Sometimes it is hard to type ones thoughts..... Sounds like some very good thoughts on your suggestions. I too would
rather have one coil and multiple internal changes..
