Minelab XS2a Pro ??

What would be a fair price to pay for a used but in really good condition Minelab XS2a Pro with 8" stock coil and ID meter ? And is this a good detector for relic and coin shooting ? Any advice would be appreciated .

I wouldnr pay more than 500 for a used one, I see better deals than that on ebay and the classifieds, not that it isnt worth more than that, its just that with so many being sold there are some good deals on used sovs. I wouldnt be afraid to buy even a well used one a couple years old for the right price, I never had any problems with mine in the 4 years I had them and it still works fine, also all the models give the same performance so the newest ones wont get you any more than the others.. If it were me I would be looking for a XS or XS II with Sunray Meter, and if it had multiple coils or sunray probe that would be even better.. I have seen XS's with SR DTI meters for as low as 300-350 bucks... now thats a deal!

I picked up a used XS in super condition with the stock 8" coinsearch coil, SunRay 5" intruder, SR DTI II meter, heavy duty carry bag and two hip mount bags one leather and one nylon for 375 delivered. So don't be in a hurry to buy one. Wait until you find the right deal. I waited almost a month before this one popped up. Make sure you check the buy/sell forums everyday, about 7-8am, 3-5pm and later around 7-9pm. A deal will be posted to your liking, I'm sure.
