Minelab X-terra or fisher f4

Has anyone done a comparison on the two machines. I have an x-terra and was wondering if the f4 will go deeper and id better than the x-terra. My x -terra does not Id well after 4 or 5 inches. I have been looking at purchasing an f4 . Thanks for any information yall might have.

Try posting this on the Fisher forum. I have an F4 but I am getting to send it in for repair as recently it has lost depth and ID. I used to get about the same depth as you with the exterra. I think you might want to look at the F5 and up in the Fisher line. Also look at the new Teknetics in the Tek forum, they are getting some good reviews. The Gamma and Omega might be worth watching.
