Minelab X-terra Gold for prospecting ???

Has anybody used the Minelab X-terra Gold with the 6 X 10 DD 18.75 KHz coil for prospecting??. I have one and would like to know if this detector can be any good for prospecting with the 18.75 KHz coil for nuggets or any other gold etc? Any feedback appreciated Thanks

Plenty of people have found gold with the X-Terra. No question it can do the job.

It is a fine detector for any dry land hunting...( the dd works pretty good on wet-salt beaches;for prospecting be sure you understand the options available...read the manual x 10

I have a new Xterra with a 6 inch round DD HF coil. Wow is it sensitive! It can detect wire at 4 inches or more.
I'm heading up to the hills any day now. Maybe tommorrow. Next week for sure.
I'll let you know how I make out with it. I'm feeling pretty positive about it.
It's going to be beautiful up there. And the river should be low.
