Minelab x-terra 705

I have a chance to purchase an almost X-terra 705 Gold package and am wondering what a good price for me to pay for it? Thanks for your input.

How much warranty does it have left?

Depending on which pinpointer it could be a fantastic deal that you shouldn't let get away. If it's a Whites, Minelab, or Garrett pinpointer, I'd snatch it up if it all works. Remaining warranty would just be icing on the cake.

Hi, its a Minelab pinpointer and the is 2.5 years left on the warranty. I hope it was not registered or it is transferable because I bought it. It was 450 without pinpointer and 500 with it so I paid 500. It was still new in the box (2) boxes. Now I will have to read all the 705 help topics for it because I don't know a thing about it. Thank for your help.

Congratulations!
Yes, the warranty is transferrable. Just give Minelab a call and they will take care of you.
I highly recommend you go through the FAQFAQ pinned thread in this forum. There is more info there than your brain can absorb all at once, so refer back to it as you have questions.
In there, you will also find a link to Randy's free e-book.....download it! It is our bible. Then read it....twice....and keep going back to it after each hunt until you are comfortable with the machine.

Thanks a bunch. I am glad I found your site, as I know it will save me many hours of frustration because of my total lack of knowledge about this machine.

Could somone please post a link to Diggers e book please?
thanks.

It's on the FAQFAQ pinned thread, but I'll post it here too.

I don't know if you have a smart phone but I downloaded the manual and Randy's book to mine so I can access it any time I'm out in the field(literally).
Good luck. You will like the 705.

Duh! Why the hell did I not think of that? That's a great idea Bill! Bill, I asked you awhile back on a post how the Auvios were working out for ya, but I wasn't sure if you responded, or I just missed it. And yes, Bill is right! You will love the 705, it's a super versatile detector. I've been swinging an X-Terra 505 for just about a year now and I'm still learning all it can do. HH, Scott

qdup, that was a great buy you made, I just purchased a 705 a couple of weeks ago for about the same price, took it out yesterday on it's maiden voyage and was pleasantly surprised as to how great a detector it is. Randy's book is worth its weight in gold, you'll love your new detector. HH

The X-TERRA is a great detector. I'm glad you are enjoying the eBook. I enjoy sharing what I've learned over the years. As to worth it's weight in gold.......thanks for the compliment. I wouldn't go that far! But, you can't beat the price! And it makes it all worth while when I hear that folks appreciate my efforts. HH Randy

Digger loved your book also..The 705 is a coin finding machine ..what should my next coil be?? I live in Ohio and hunt coins?? haven't found any silver yet but I know its justa matter of time..thanks to all!!!
