Hello, I have not posted here in a while. I wanted to stop by and tell a brief story. I am a middle school science teacher that detects. I came up with the idea of creating a middle level detecting club integrating interdisciplinary curricular elements with detecting. I pitched it to Minelab through a local vendor Chuck Smalley and they were interested. A few months later and we are preparing for our first seeded hunt using donated xterra machines. I just wanted to recognize Minelab for the terrific support and for being there for us through the whole process. They are a top notch corporation with real interest in the success of students.

Chad I am glad to see you take those kinds of steps in reaching out to your kids, minelab is top shelf as a company and their detectors a second to none. I am from east central Iowa and have bought an xterra 705 and two e-tracs from Chuck and he is always great to deal with before and after the sale. Gives alot of himself to Cordova as the Fire Chief and is a great asset to the community so I am sure he was eager to help with a project like this. Nice job and HH

Thanks for the effort Chad and good going MineLab!

By the way Chad....are your mascotts at the school "tractors"????

Thanks for posting about this Chad. Well done for starting the program and I have to agree that Minelab is truly a fantastic company. I have nothing but great things to say about them and It's nice to see them supporting something like this. I hope you and the kids have a great time digging!
