Minelab Sovereign GT vs Fisher CZ70
Which is best beach detector

George,I think the CZ overall is a better detector.First its well balanced and light.Second, the ID system has much more information and is more accurate at depth. Pinpointing with the CZ is very easy and this mode also gives a depth reading.Coil size on par the CZ is as deep as any detector. The Sovereign has a wider scan and probably is a better beach detector than the CZ.The notch system on the CZ can make multiple notches with a push of a button and can be changed quickly. The coil sweep speed is a little faster on the CZ.Both detectors hip mount very easy the CZ is weather proof. HH Ron

I believe that Sovereigns with Wot coils should be issued by license only...cause they are deadliest weapons and don't leave a lot behind.

I have a few friends that use them on the beach and I can't match or catch them with the exp II with the s-12 coil. I always tried to make sure that I was in front of them.

So...if you can't beat em join em...I bought a Sov GT w/stock coil to add to my arsenal and I'm looking to add the Wot soon. First time out blew me away.
