Minelab Sovereign GT as compared to the White's V3i / VX3

Just wondering if anyone has used and compared the Sovereign GT against the White's series of V detectors. The Sovereign is a no bells and whistles raw power deep searcher. However I have been flirting with the White's V3i and the Vx3. Saltwater beach performance, coin depth of detection, ease of use, tone id, etc etc.
Just looking for opinions. I mostly coin and relic hunt in fields and old parks and I hit the beach in the winter for old coins after storms and in the Summer for Gold. Currently I use the GT.

Thanks in advance
HH

I use my GT on the salt water wet sand. Everywhere else I'd use my V3i.

The V3 will hit harder on very small gold like earings, but I'll take a GT for rings and old coins.
