:minelab:SOME X-TERRA 70 FINDS BY A TREASURE HUT CUSTOMER:minelab:

Below is an email and some pics sent to us by an accomplished X-Terra 70 customer.

Chuck,

Saturday I did a little hunting while up in the mountains. I found a recreational area tubing hill. I was using my X-Terra 70 with the stock coil in Pattern One. The ground mineralization varied a fair amount so after using the Auto Ground Balance to balance the detector I pressed the Track button. I found the ground to be quite enough to run the sensitivity up to 28. I started hunting out away from the base of the tubing hill and worked my way in towards the slope. I only had a hand trowel to dig with and it took a fair amount of time to dig and locate each target. I was surprised to find that there was almost no trash in the area. I dug every target and only found two trash targets. Target depth ran from 2 or 3 inches to over 8 inches. I dug 4 quarters, 11 dimes 8 nickels, 34 pennies and a nice 14k gold man's wedding ring. The ring has "love you forever 9/6/80 inscribed on the inside.Towards the end I started passing up targets that would ID in the penny range. After 58 good targets my hand was sore and I had worn an hole in the left knee of my pants so I called it quits. I attached a couple of pictures.

I will have to go back again with a small shovel and some knee pads to finish up what I just barely started.

God Bless,

Cyril

Thanks Chuck for sharing Cyril's successes with everyone.

:minelab:And here is a special note for anyone out there with new X-Terra's. It does take a bit of learning time to adjust to the X-70, particularly if you've been using another brand previously. Chuck knows I was having trouble getting adjusted to it, but with about 35 hours of use now, this X-Terra 70 is becoming a more user friendly machine than I ever could have imagined.

Thank you again Chuck, I am really beginning to enjoy using the X-70 and looking forward to trying it on some Georgia and Florida beaches in November.
