Minelab Service

bad boy

New member
I don't own one yet but would like to know how the customer relationship to the owner is?? I know Whites Electronics is pretty hard to beat as far as service. I just would like to hear about Minelabs service and where would you send one in for service if you live in Pa.

Top notch service. I have been dealing with them since 2000 and have yet to be disappointed. Whether its a problem that must be sent in or even just needing a small part I have always been taken care of.
Here is the Service Locations with contact info.

I had a coil failure on my CTX 3030 about 2 weeks ago. I called Minelab service in Illinois and they gave me an RMA number over the phone and emailed detailed instructions, shipping address etc.

Took me a couple days to get my old coil sent off. I recieved a brand new coil by Fedex today. So less than 2 weeks with ground shipping both ways. I also recieved tracking info from them.

So I have to say they are trying hard to take care issues and you shouldn't be too concerned, especially if you register your warrenty with them.

Depends on the machine and if you have a warranty. You rarely have any issues with the Exp/ET. Other machines that require you to repeately send them back like water machines with short warranties things get a little heated sometimes. I had my Explorer for over 6 years and NEVER had an issue. I think time lag is the biggest complaint on repairs. Personally, i think whites does it better because they will send you things you need without having to have them do the work.
