this is what they have listed for mine
Serial #ESE 12771
I tried going to the minelab site but couldn't find anything on it.
I imagine it would be under consumer right?

I'm getting excited about this minelab.
A couple of years ago I had the Xterra 70-maybe three years ago. I liked it but didn't care for the three coil deal and turned right around and bought a 705.
I liked it even better and in Prospector mode-good golly you could dig up your whole yard-it found everything.
Just like a lot of others I sold it and have had a ton of detectors. I bought a T2 but traded it to a woman who had a Safari brand new with three coils and a couple of books because she said it was to heavy for her.
traded straight up what a deal. Yeah I had it for awhile and like a dummy sold it for much more than I paid for the new T2. One thing I noticed though was the build quality of the safari. It was heavy but built like a tank and I really like it and never forgot it. I have a coin garden planted but the deepest coin is a 50 cent piece at 12". I want to see in the Se Pro will pick it up. All the other coins are at 5" 7" 9"10".pennies nickles and dimes and a couple of quarters also nails and bolts and foil.
Well I hope everything turns out alright.
I just bought a mint Troy shadow from E--Y but I think the coil is bad-not much depth at all maybe 8" at the most air test but when i grab the coil wire near where it enters the coil I can get a signal from a quarter all the way up to the control box but if I tap the rod-I get a beep and if I touch the coil wire I get a beep so I think it might be a bad ground somewhere or coil defect.
I'm waiting to hear from the guy who sold it to me.
