Minelab SE Pro problem ???

I have the se pro...when I am hunting in the IM mode and I detect a target and push the pin point to center it, and push the pin point off, lay the detector down to dig the target and when I get up and start to swing the metal detector its really unstable. Sometimes it goes away on its own after a few swings and sometimes I have to push the detect button to fer-con. and back to IM before it becomes stable...is that just the machine or could there be a problem with it....

I think its because when your coil parallel to ground its less influenced by EMR when you put your detector down coil more vertical and more surface -like antenna--for EMR. Or you use to high sensitivity.

IF you leave your machine in PP it begins to increase in volume. Its GB.... and if you were over a target you would slowly hear it be GBed out. These are motion machines and needs to be moved to maintain a proper GB. No you dont have a problem it should go away once you start moving the coil.
