Minelab SE Handle

Rob (IL)

New member
Has anyone found a way to change the angle of the handle on a Minelab SE? I'd like to have it at a more upright angle like the ETrac or my V3i. I could cut it but what would glue it back as strong as it would need to be?

Has anyone figured how to get the glued on pod off the shaft without cutting off the bottom of the pod? :stars:

The control head is usually not glued on and will slide off.

I had been told that Minelab repair center would glue them on if they were sent in for repairs to reduce flex in the machine.

This one wasn't sent in and it is glued. I found a post on this forum showing the glue on an SE. Gue is on 3 sides.

I've dismissed modifying the handle. I'll have to use Whites rods. The upper BHID rod and the lower fiber rod only. I won't use the middle rod and if I want more length I'll used the tall man fiber rod.
