Be interesting to see this one a improvement over the 705 but not as good as the GPX series and waterproof plus collapsible to 16 inches .

It' same Pulse Induction gold detector in a package based on their F3 Compact mine detector. Overall the package sill look much like the recently released Garrett ATX. As far as performance compared to the ATX or to Minelab's GPX-5000 - we will have to wait and see.

Jim,they caught my attention to with this new product, one more week and we'll all find out.It would be cool if it was a BBS.HH Ron

I think its for gold prospecting so I doubt if its gonna be bbs or fbs. I think those upper end gold machines are pulse machines Jim.

Yes its a pulse machine..... desigend for the gold fields and beach. We have seen them try this before..... TDI and Finny comes to mind. The problem as usual is trying to get the Us to affectively work in both locations. I think they are just throwing a PI out there because they dont have one for in the water. Ill wait and watch for the first year. IF they can get a PI to work in the water with a 10 Us its worth looking at. Whites suggested they might do an upgraded TDI for the water.... but now its a personal project.

At least they kept the Sov GT color . Jim :detecting:

If it is between the Eureka Gold and the CTX in performance I suspect that it will be priced somewhere around the middle. Something Like $1749.99 would be my guess. Since I have stretched my budget to the breaking point with the GT and EXcal I will have to wait till I find that $5000.00 diamond ring to be able to afford one.

That is one ugly looking coil. It also looks small. I give Garrett the award for better looking unit. Unless this PI has some sort of discrimination ability I will have no use for it.
