Minelab Repair

Just wanted to post my gratitude and my feeling of this New Minelab repair center
I had a excailbur that the warranty on the repair had just expired and it needed a decent amount of repair
And if it wasnt for Jamie and Debbie at Minelab I would have had to buy a new machine
They covered the cost of a new board and i still have to pay for some other stuff but it really help
I have been using minelab for over 20 years and my feelings are they want to help the customers as much as they can
Off to a great start in my book

Starting to look like maybe Minelab wasn't the problem afterall; only their trust/faith/(not sure what word to use here) in the former repair center....? Tho it would still be nice if they would sell non-secret parts to owners.

I'm VERY encouraged by what I now read on the forums about ML repairs at the new site. THATS the way to build confidence in your brand. And a hat tip/thank you to Jamie as well!

I second the kudos to Jamie at Minelab and Dan at Detector Center. I mailed my Excal off on Monday for Disc. issues (it was the pot) and it was approved by me, repaired, and back in the mail by Friday. All for a tad over $100. Dan was extremely pleasant to deal with and answered any questions I had, which were plenty. It appears Minelab have gone from one extreme to the other. I'm glad they are at the good end of the service spectrum now.

Kellyco no longer does repairs on Minelab Detectors. (Thankfully)

Kellyco does great work too

You might want to reread some of the kellyco ML repair posts from last year.......:rage:
Pay particular attention to timeframes.
And then Compare/Contrast to the current repair center.
