General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Minelab repair

I hope no has a Minelab to send to Kellyco...(Non -Warranty)....Been there two months or so!.....called last week told me be on bench early this week...called to day(9/30/2016)..told me be on bench late next week..........I said that is terrible.....He told me IT IS WHAT IT IS.....Was real nice about it..and I know its not Marty's fault......But Minelab REALLY needs to get with it......It might be there another two months?...If they keep putting Warranty work ahead of it?...............If I only had one of there EXPENSE detector's...I would be a REALLY...REALLY....Upset Customer!!!
 
The Minelab repair center at Kellyco had hired a 2nd repair tech this past April who had prior excal repair experience already, unfortunately after working 4 months he had personal family problems back home and had to return to Brazil in early August ...... They are looking for repair techs again.
 
With all the repair work it seems..like minelab..would open up another repair center....they need one just for the 3030's.....if they where..200.00 or 300.00..detectors...I could see...but Minelabs..are supost to top of the line!

If they are that backlogged, kinda makes ya wonder how many machines under warranty are crapping out, that's not very reassuring.
 
It has to be 3030's. Nothing else is selling in large numbers. The gold detectors go to a UPS store in Chandler Arizona where a guy picks them up and - as far as I know - fixes them at his home. Haven't heard any complaints about that however.
 
I don't doubt it, I had 2 CTX's, both had issues that needed Minelab to take care of. I sold them both and went back to an Etrac.

The vast majority of repairs are on out of warranty detectors not warranty detectors. They still work on detectors not supported by Minelab so they are still working on old Explorers and Sovereigns that have been out of warranty for over a decade.
 
Kellyco has always been good about repairing Minelabs wherever possible - including those ML no longer supports.
 
It has to be new ones..3030's......if mine keeps getting pushed back..........if he tells me on the bench in a week...then gets moved back.........He told me this three times...........And ,I have two 3030's....both have been sent back...fixed..and know one needs to go back again...out of warranty...but not till ..I get my E=trac ....BACK!!!!

When I was there on Friday afternoon they had Etracs, Safaris, GPX5000 and 3030s in for repair that were still under warranty.

They got my e-trac fixed...only took 12 weeks with shipping time...hope it don't break again!
