Just run a few wraps of duct tape around it if you think you need a grip on the handle, or just use it without.. some of us replaced the factory grip with cold shrink, but dont ask me where you can get it, one of the guys sent it to me

Hi there,I am a very recent owner of an Explorer
and I have used some crepe bandage around mine.
In a few months time I can do it again as necessary.
It is also better to hold in this hot summer weather.
Happy Hunting,
Jerry.

The wrap that they use for tennis grips should work well. I used this wrap on my shotgun grip when I was shooting a lot of trap. It helped asorb a lot of the shock.
