Minelab Relic Hawk pinout

barcelona

New member
Hi,
since this detector is an old timer..
I was just wondering if anyone knows the pinout for the minelab relic hawk. In terms of making a replacement ...battery ...and the earphones pinout from it.
i have an minelab relic hawk detector but missing the battery...and cables. So i was thinking to make something from scratch. Also can't seem to find any accessories for sale on this unit..especially the battery.

Any suggestions great appreciated.

Best regards
M.

......I have a Minelab Relic Hawk. I can take some pics of the battery and of all of the cables and wires. It may take me a few days to do this since I am taking care of my granddaughter who is only with me during the summer!! Do you have the 15 inch coil ?? I was going to adapt the coil connectors so I could use a smaller coil for coin shooting but never got around to doing this!!

Hi!
Thanks for your help.
Well this is the problem. ..i only have the unit. I bought it like that w no coils and no battery.
I was looking to buy a coil...perhaps do you have any idea what coils will fit from other minelab detectors?...or i might have to build one...but its not easy.
Yes if you could take some pics that could be great... i know is a 12v battery.... but all wires connect inside that little black casing on top of the battery..where the phones connect also.
Do you have experience on using the RH ? And what is your general impression about it? I have heard good things about it.
Thank you so much!

....I bought mine as a store demonstrator and after I bought it....I decided not to use it unless I got a smaller coil for it...which I never did! So I never used mine except for throwing a few coins down on the carpet....LOL....this detector works at 5 KHZ so any coil that works on 5 KHZ should work...especially any 5 KHZ Minelab coils!!

Hi...
I tried to read a bit trough forums...looks like musketeer coils might work. Even if coil has 5 khz...its important to have the impedance required..otherwise might damage something.
I will try to open it up and see the wiring and everything. ..so i can hook a 12v batt and some earphones. ..
I will gave to see how i get the coil..or make one..but its not so easy...

I haven't. Searched for any mine lab detectors on this site...but i do know that there are thousands of pinouts and schematics on this website...
You may have to use the search engine. And hunt around in there.....it might be worth a look....the site is....
www.pinouts.ru

Good luck. !
