minelab or tesoro

I was wondering which detector yall prefer or think is better and deeper? Minelab x-terra 50 or tesoro deleon. I had it narrowed to the two and bought bthe x-terra 50. I like it but have always questioned myself. I believe I would enjoy both , I do like the warranty on tesoro and that is a big plus.

I own an Xrerra and a Deleon and I honestly think you made the right choice. I believe that the Deleon was Tessoro's first attempt at a TID machine. I like the Deleon but I love my Xterra. I will however say that Tesoro makes a great detector and mine works quite well.

That would be a tough choice to make. Glad I'm not in that position.

So is the deleon...........but I found the 50 to be a tad better to my tastes.

But the truth is Sir..only you can make the decision............50 different people will give 25 different answers.

I have the DeLeon and have to say I've been very pleased with it, but haven't had a chance to use the Minelab.

you made the right one. Since you have the ability to manually ground balance, you're not going to be plagued by a lot of falsing due to an errant preset GB in both modes of the DeLe
