Boys !!! This time I got the big one! Yes Solid 6 gram gold 18k Women Ring. Also one big silver ring and two bronze.

Found a very old coin of one cent 1883 very rare and valued in 50 dollars in Argentina by collectors

This time were not 13 rings but the gold one makes the difference

Wow & I thought I did good, 5 rings in one day!!!! well 13 there ya go AWESOME!!! congrats!!! the rings I found were 4 gold & 1 platinum, on Atantic beach N.C.
 
Very nice finds Oscar! That big gold ring will pay for your trip and more. It'd interesting you found such an old coin there too - maybe there is a lot of older jewelry deeper. I hope that you can also get into the shallow water. Happy hunting!

long before this forum came about my grandpa and i was looking for a place to hunt. a near by lake had been half way drained for damn repairs. the park had stopped swimming a few years earlier due to a drowning. the lake had a clay bottom along with the old swimming area. So off we went down to the spot were everyone once played in the water. About 3 foot out from the bank my grand father said hey look son i just found this gold ring just laying here i didnt even hit it with my detector. well that's cool gramp. walking back to my spot i see a ring laying there picked it up bang it was gold. to make this story short we ended up laying the detectors down and walking a grind of the place. total ring count for that day was 67. 21 were gold a bunch of silver a few fakes. 13 gold chains and braclets 17 silver. 2 wallets one with 40 in cash 8 pair of sun glasses and 3 pounds of fishing weights. best hunt ever. the next day we used the detectors and ended up with 32 more rings. i will never forget that weekend i was only 14

That gets my vote for the best hunt day I have ever heard of. I have found 6 gold rings in one day and 48 other tags, coins and tokens but 22 gold rings in one day is an absolute dream. At 14 you were hooked for life after that.
