Just started using the Red Silicon, some very sure seal O-Rings, almost to soft. they tear easy, but there are a few little secrets...Endcap install, put set screws in just flush with inside of pod, then a very small amout of silicon to fill any sharp edges, let dry. Then install the Red's on the endcaps, silicon grease the Oring, and slide in...hold in place for about 30 seconds..then tighten the set screws.

For anyone just starting, I would reco EPDM's from McmasterCarr
