Minelab excalibur ii aftermarket search coil

Dears ... can you help about minelab excalibur ii search coils . What's the best search coil can be fit it directly in minelab excalibur ii without need to do any customize ... because minelab excalibur ii come with bbs 10 search coil . So what is the best coil than stock coil can use it underwater to get more depth 20% or 30% ... Regards

Keep the stock coil, Hunt in PP, crank the sensitivity up.Then get a better set of Head phones so you can hear the faints. I have the WOT and ULT13 and My opinion the 13 is the better and deeper of the two but will not handle saltwater deeper then a foot, so it is great for wetsand and dry ..smokes the WOT. But for best all around performance in saltwater, the stock coils are hard to beat, you just have to learn how to use the machine different then the normal.

I agree once those large coils hit the water most have to be cranked down. Near or on the beach they can gain you both deeepth and coverage. They can be a bit to much to swing is some conditions. Personally I wouldnt go much bigger than a 12" for in the water.

Bigger coil is seductive, but its progressively harder to recover a target and swing in the water as you increase size. 10 inch Tornado is a great combination of depth and focus to recover greatest number of good targets overall. IMHO
I've run stock 800 and WOT and both have advantages in certain situations, but since its not easy to go multi-coil I say go with a perfect 10.
