This was a very interesting day to say the least. I started out trekking to the mountains and offering a little assistance in a cave rescue. Then, I decided to take a drive to a Civil War site to do a little metal detecting with the Minelab Equinox 800.

Tag along with me as we find a few interesting pieces and a few Civil War relics. This site, though it has been beat-to-death always gives up a few of its secrets; if you know how and where to look for them.
