minelab digger blade

I just got a good deal on a minelab digger, and noticed that it does not have a real sharp blade. Should I leave it alone or hit it with my grinding wheel?​

I have the predator and I hit it with a hand file. I'd be really careful with a grinder that you kept the metal cool while sharpening. You take the temper out and you will have reduced it's capabilities. It's not sharp like a real knife, but just making the edges a little less flat makes cutting into the ground easier and it doesn't tear the grass as much. A cleaner cut makes it easier to leave the area and nobody knows you had been there. Jim
