Minelab customer Service

Hey guys getting a little nervous about the things I am reading regaurding Minelabs customer service and repair problems, I have 2 Minelabs now to include a 505 and a Safari. Is it true that everything is being made in Malaysia now? Typically how long do these machines last without problems? Dang maybe I should have got a Tesoro now.

I have heard things are getting better. They are in the process of moving the vegas service to chicago I heard.

They are in the process of moving to Chicago right now is true. Do a search on this very sight and you will find many posts about this very subject. IMHO until the move is complete their customer service may be a bit shaky.

I do not know if this link will go through but if not just do a Goggle about it, Beale.

I have an Xterra and an Explorer. I am not concerned. I would buy another ML. Not sure that I will though, kinda got it covered for now. Some guys seem to be suffering long waits. I think that will improve. I suspect they will have an easier time of hirering good electronic techs in Chi-town. Probably a higher rate of unemployed there and not the demand that the gaming industy has in Las Vegas.

Just an opinion

Jeff
