I have heard the horror stories from years past.. Well I can honestly say, and you can like it or not... I sent my E-Trac in 1 week ago Monday(on their dime) for a power cycling issue. They received it Wednesday the 28th. I called and made sure they had it.. The lady I spoke to told me 10 to 15 business days.. so I'm thinking last of next week.. Well 1hour ago the UPS guy dropped off my repaired E-Trac.. Now that is frickin fast!! Wtg Minelab
They replaced the face plate and it is working just fine!!!
 
i had a problem with my arm cuff the screw was striped out i called them and they told me that i could send it to them or since i live 60 miles away i could bring it in so i chose to take it in for repair i also talked to them about a screen cover they said that they were not set up for retail sales so they could not sell me one well i went in and when they brought it out to me after about a 5 minute wait they had put the cover on iy and told me no charge that to me was above and beyond what they had to do i am more than happy with the service that i got dennis

It is a world of difference in their Customer Service for sure!!!
 
Minelab had a customer service issue a while back when they were expanding and relocating branches, servcies, divisions....

since then... they are SPOT ON and one of the top companies for customer service and repair. I have even heard that they even surprise their 'military accounts' at how fast they get service done and accurate too. I M hoping it continues and helps the detectorists in the field...
 
That is good to know ,I have to send mine in . The speaker is inop. It just went out of warranty last month..
 
Nice to hear they have turned things around and now with their warranty transfers they look great.
