Minelab coinsearch 11"

I do. I take RT 26 to Coastal Hwy, go north or south, pick a street and turn east. Find a parking spot and walk on..... Sorry, just couldn't help myself.

Maybe you can rephrase your question.

Not water proof I believe

OldBeechnut is correct this coil is the first big coil Minelab made back in 90s and it like the 8 inch coinsearch were not waterproof so you can not put it in water. If it was it would be OK for on the beach, but not in the water as it would be hard to swing being so big.

Rich.... if it was waterproof, i think you would be surprised how easily that would swing in the water. B U T.....coil control because it would FLOAT would be the issue. Even the new coiltek that is solid is a floater. Ive used an AquaSound and believe me those coils are HEAVY out of the water ..... but glide in the water and are buoyant.
