Minelab coil or Coiltek Coil

Coiltek actually makes some of minelab coils.

Many say a "digger coil" is a must have, and we had 3 of them. I personally never hit it big with that coil, although others did. I sold mine when I bought my Etrac with barely a scratch on it. Mapper65 has an assortment of coils, and while some have a better track record than others, I find that no one fits all. There were times that I found absolutely nothing and he was on the silver. Switching coils/frequency is sometimes exactly what you need to start finding again. It seems to be site specific depending on soil content.
